After months of going back and forth with building my bike, I got the ok from my chickiepoo to, "finish that bike already" as a birthday gift. Just made a huge purchase to its cause.
Knew I wanted to get my fork legs shaved, but it seemed like there were not any shops who would lathe "automotive" parts, so I took things into my own hands... literally. This is the furthest I got before my first grinder blew up, and caught fire in my hands
I am selling my 21 in front. Rim and tire are in great shape, just need something skinnier to go with my new triple clamps. $150 for the rim, $180 for rim and tire.
Tore down a while ago. Extended the frame 4 inches, got rid of the belt drive, going chain, and a new oil bag. A few more things, and I will put it back together again...
Since my bike has been down I guess you can say I have been a little out of the biker scene... wait was I ever in the biker scene? Regardless I guess because I havent been to a show in a while I missed the latest and greatest in biker fashion. Just kidding DeadBeats. Love you guys, and my bike will be done in a qhile so we can go riding together. Soon enough, soon enough
I have been reading up a lot on unicorns, and fell in love. I think what I love most about them are their love making. Anyways I thought, what better way to express my love of unicorns than to get some tattoos...
So I frequently check random blogs to see the crazy things people post, and one site I check out on the regular is the sabre site. For some reason it reminds me a lot of when I lived in the OC, and I kind of miss it. My next glasses will be the Madness model, they are sick. Check out their site, they seem like they are just down to have a good time which is cool. http://www.sabre.fm/
So when I was younger I worked at the local mountain as a lift operator so I can get a free season pass. When people got stuck on the lifts we would call them hangers. We would stop the lifts, and wait for ski patrol to put mats down under the chair so they can drop on them. Regardless it was scary, but funny at the same time. I never did see or hear about something like this... I bet he got shrinkage because it was cold...
So this weekend I decided to rip my bike apart. While I was lifting the rear end of my bike on the lift, I kind of threw out my back a little... It didnt stop me from diggin in my bike, but it hurt like a B. Regardless I should of called this guy over because he is a thug.
